Description:

The traineeship will take place at the Architecture Laboratory of the Department of Civil Engineering, within the research and experimental activities carried out by the Architectural Engineering (SSD CEAR-08/A, ex ICAR/10) research group.

The trainee will be involved in integrated research support activities, with particular reference to:

• analysis and study of traditional and innovative construction techniques, with a focus on 20th- and 21st-century building materials;
• support in the preparation of graphic drawings and 2D/3D models for research project and scientific publications;
• analysis and graphic documentation of buildings and building components;
• bibliographic and archival research;
• support in the organization of workshops, seminars, and related academic activities.

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a Master’s Degree programme in Building Engineering–Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fields;
• Proficiency in English (minimum level B2 or equivalent);
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of architectural design and architectural technology;
• Basic skills in CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent) and 3D modelling tools (Rhino, SketchUp, or similar);
• Good graphic representation skills.
