Description:

The intern will work closely with our research team to build and analyze complex real-world datasets, estimate and validate statistical models, and develop predictive algorithms, focusing on the design, training, and evaluation of Machine Learning models (e.g., classification, regression, clustering).

Responsibilities include data engineering, exploratory data analysis (EDA), model implementation and interpretation, clear communication of findings through visualizations and reports, documenting the statistical rationale behind ML choices.

Requirements:

• Solid theoretical background in probability, linear algebra, and statistical inference.
• Good knowledge of statistical methods (regression, hypothesis testing, etc.).
• Experience with model validation and performance metrics.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with at least one statistical programming language (e.g., Python or R).
• Academic Level: Bachelor or Master’s program in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Other requirements: Analytical Thinking, Organizational Skills, Soft skills, Capability in team working
