Description:

MaTOX S.r.l. is an innovative university spin-off operating in the field of chemical risk assessment and monitoring of hazardous drug contamination in healthcare environments. The company develops analytical methodologies, exposure monitoring strategies and diagnostic tools aimed at improving occupational safety and environmental protection.

The trainee will be involved in applied laboratory and research activities, including:

  • Support in sample preparation and analytical procedures
  • Participation in chemical contamination monitoring projects
  • Collection and preliminary processing of analytical data
  • Contribution to method development and validation activities
  • Support in internal research and development initiatives

The traineeship offers hands-on experience in applied analytical chemistry within a real innovation-driven environment. The student will gain insight into how laboratory research is translated into structured services for risk assessment and technological solutions.
The trainee will work under supervision of scientific staff and will develop both technical laboratory skills and understanding of project-based scientific operations.

Requirements:

  • Academic background in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Environmental Sciences or related disciplines
  • Basic knowledge of analytical chemistry principles
  • Familiarity with laboratory practices and safety procedures
  • Structured and detail-oriented working approach
  • Good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level)
  • Strong motivation and willingness to learn

Preferred (not mandatory):

  • Basic knowledge of chromatographic techniques
  • Interest in occupational safety and chemical risk assessment
